Nibleaf is a documentation platform with a Notion-style editor over Markdown, versioned publishing, built-in search and analytics, and 12 interface languages and first-class RTL. Use the free cloud beta or install the public AGPL-3.0 release on your own infrastructure.
Blocks, a slash menu, live preview, and rich MDX components, with one crucial difference: pages are stored as Markdown and can be exported for use elsewhere.
Every publish is an immutable snapshot with its own search index. Readers never see a half-written page, and rolling back is one click — republish any earlier version.

Most docs platforms bolt RTL on as an afterthought. Nibleaf supports 12 interface languages, arbitrary BCP-47 content languages, per-language page trees, mirrored layouts, localized chrome, and hreflang for every page.

The full docs workflow in one managed product, with portable Markdown content.
Guided DNS setup and verification, wildcard project subdomains, and per-domain 301 consolidation.
Page views, unique visitors, top pages, and reader searches are built into the product. Hosted traffic is delivered through Cloudflare.
Server-side rendering, canonicals, Open Graph, JSON-LD, sitemaps, hreflang, and per-page noindex controls out of the box.
Each site is its own workspace with owner, admin, and editor roles — and anchored review comments on any block.
Callouts, tabs, code groups, and rich embeds inside plain Markdown — portable content with a component vocabulary.
Any S3-compatible store works: AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, or the bundled storage service.
A calm, predictable workflow — write in Markdown, publish a versioned snapshot, share a fast site.
Author pages in a focused editor with live preview, a page tree, and MDX components. No proprietary format — your content stays portable.
Every publish snapshots your docs and rebuilds search. Roll forward safely; readers never see a half-written page.
Connect a custom domain and ship a fast, searchable, bilingual site — hosted for you, or on your own servers.
Start on the managed beta or run the published Docker Compose stack yourself.

A technical launch note for the capabilities merged into Nibleaf main: hybrid search, usage, add-ons, integrations, portable themes, and read-only MCP.
Yes. Nibleaf Cloud is live and free while in beta — managed docs hosting, sign-in, publishing, search, and custom domains.
Yes. The source repository is public under AGPL-3.0, and the self-hosted release includes a pinned GHCR image and guided Docker Compose installer.
Paid cloud plans will come later, announced with generous advance notice, and beta workspaces will get preferential treatment. Self-hosting remains available under AGPL-3.0.
The beta runs on a fair-use basis rather than hard plan limits. If a workspace is unusually heavy on resources, we will reach out before anything changes.
Absolutely. Nibleaf speaks the S3 API, so it works with any S3-compatible storage (AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, or the bundled storage service).
The built-in Orama path provides full-text and fuzzy results. Source main also includes an optional tenant-filtered Qdrant hybrid path and opt-in grounded answers; operators start in shadow mode and retain the legacy path for rollback.
